We reinvented the RIMOWA catalogue and not only showed the suitcases in scenic landscapes but told stories about interesting and exceptional people, living in Japan. Each person had a different story to tell and presented a different style of suitcase. This included the famous director Takeshi Kitano, as well as a french tea-sommelier (in Japan!) or an architect for tiny houses.

RIMOWA -

every case has its story

For RIMOWA we developed a new catalogue concept which, inspired by the history of RIMOWA, was much more content-based and integrated. Each edition focused on a country or continent, telling extraordinary stories for sophisticated travellers. The Japanese edition is displayed here. Amongst other characters, it introduces you to Stephane Danton, the French tea sommelier who came to Tokyo to create the world's best tea; and Takeshi Kitano, the famous director.
